
This photo was taken yesterday, at the highlight of the Oak Mountain State Park: the petting farm. We had a very nice outdoorsy day, sunny with temperatures above 75 °F! The Alabama country side was stunning. Interestingly, about every other house that we passed was a church: presbyterian, baptist, catholic... And we saw many 'Country First' and 'Palin/McCain' signs. The people are incredibly friendly here, everywhere you go.
Today, at my father's 68th birthday and the day before the 56th US elections, we've started with our 3rd week of therapy. After 2 days of 'freedom', Maya was not happy to see Brittny entering the apartment again this morning! So, she's been a little bit grumpy (a euphemism). Hopefully the afternoon session will be more successful...
