Although Brittny admitted that she had not been looking forward to Maya's usual Monday morning grump, Maya did very well in therapy with her today!

Her technique of grasping is not yet where it should be (she still has a lot of difficulty separating her thumb from the palm of her hand and supinating her wrist). However, you can really see that she is trying to use her pointer and thumb, and that is enough for us to know that it's something we can work on, also when we're home next week. The right technique is definitely 'emerging', as the therapists say here.

Because today was cast changing day, she had another bath... Her dad couldn't help himself and had to turn her into a Mohawk:



Leela's development is not standing still either - she rolls from her back onto her stomach all the time now. Problem is, that she can't roll back by herself and after eating the carpet for some time she'll let us know that she wants to be turned over again (and this situation keeps repeating itself)! So, she's keeping us busy too.
